Tour of Martinique by catamaran and visit of the rum distilleries

Martinique and its hidden treasures will be revealed to you by the sea

For this wonderful journey  we take care of everything. From the descent of the plane to the catamaran. A spacious and comfortable sailing vessel that will allow you to have a fantastic stay.

The ship is moored in  Grande Anse bay. A reserve of sea turtles, you  will admire them on the morning while going snorkelling. In the mean time your crew will prepare breakfast, you can either go for a first short hike, or take advantage of a little sailing time to visit the village of  Les Anses D’Arlet, its church and its fish market. Then we will take to sea to cross Fort de France bay and sail to  Le Carbet.

You will surely have the chance to meet  a few dolphins. Our first distilleries stop begin with the rhums NEISSON and DEPAZ .
We will stop at the former capital of Martinique, Saint-Pierre, to allow you to visit this historic city. At sunset we will end the day in the wonderful bay of Anse Couleuvre with its black sand beach.

The day begins with a short hike of about 1 hour that will allow you to go cool off in the Couleuvre Waterfall. Then visit the Habitation Céron and its famous Zamana, the tercentenary tree which stands in the middle of the botanical garden.

You will then either set off by navigation, to follow the north of Martinique to the Bay of Trinity, or the taxi will come to pick you up and bring you to La Trinité by road while your crew will make the great crossing towards the Atlantic side of the island. You will take the opportunity to visit a few hidden corners of Martinique.

We leave early for the villages of the north, Marigot, Macouba, Basse-Point…, then  the JM Distillery, hidden in the middle of a  luxuriant vegetation in the north of Martinique. We will pass through the  villages of the North Atlantic, you will visit the abandoned fishermen’s village where artists from Martinique have come to paint their ephemeral arts which will disappear with the erosion.

The excursion to the Caravelle will take place in this natural reserve, you will finish your escape in the Baie du Trésor for a night in a mooring nearby.

We will go sailing to discover the Ilets du Robert, Ilet Chancel, Ilet Madame and Ilet Thierry will have no more secrets for you. A different cruise on the Atlantic side sheltered in a lagoon, a quick passage through Ilet Garou before ending this day at La Baignoire de Joséphine where we will spend the night .

On the morning, you will fully understand why this place bears this name and what Napoleon’s wife found so charming about it.

After a hearty breakfast as usual, carefully prepared by your crew, you will set off to explore the Clément distillery. Half a day can sometimes seem short to discover the Clément house, visitors come to discover the specificities of this outstanding place that has maintained its agricultural and industrial function, while also discovering the botanical world, the world of rum, the Creole world and the industrial world.

From the main house whose park has been designated “Remarkable Garden”, then from sugar cane fields to ageing cellars. then heading to  Cap Chevalier, so you will have avoided all the often stormy navigation between Le François and the south of Le Vauclin. A first stop on this essential islet, where everyone can enjoy as they please. Then we will end the day at English Bay, we access it through a narrow passage that few captains know.

An exclusive Calypso-Croisières spot. To end the day at Lovers Beach, we will visit a mangrove , in the heart of a  reserve made up of islets and a multitude of birds.



A magical place that will once again be revealed to you after the crowds have passedYou will go ashore to get to Ste-Anne, a typical hike called the Savane des Pétrifications where you will be happy to find the comfort of the catamaran in the waters of Ste-Anne,after a succulent meal, you will leave for a tour by minibus.

We will pass by Le Marin its marina, the first marina in the Lesser Antilles. We will visit the La Mauny and Trois-Rivières distilleries. The village of Sainte-Luce and its seafront street. Then a return to the boat will be able to peacefully admire the last sunset on the Diamond Rock.

Easy navigation with passage near the Diamond Rock . The last meal will be served in one of the prettiest coves in Martinique, La Roche  d’Or.
